If you visit my Litters page, you will find information on current and future breeding plans. We are not a “commercial” breeder and I do not sell overseas. I breed only one to two litters a year as it is a huge commitment and one that I take very seriously. As a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America and the Greater Twin Cities Golden Retriever Club, I follow a strict Breeders Code of Ethics . My goal is to produce dogs that are of sound mind and body, of excellent temperament, intelligence, beauty, and that are true to type as described in the breed standard. All my dogs in my breeding program are screened for hip and elbow dysplasia and are certified normal by the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals. We screen for Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis and other heart abnormalities by a Board Certified Cardiologist and have annual eye clearances done by a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. I routinely screen my dogs for thyroid problems and will only breed animals that have a normal thyroid function.

I have been involved with Golden Retrievers for over 25 years. I started showing in junior showmanship, obedience, and field. While in college, I acquired my first conformation show dog and participated in the breed and obedience rings. One dog led to another, one year led to another and I still have the same passion. All my dogs are “house dogs” and are a huge part of my family. They are companions first and then show dogs. My puppies are raised in my home and surrounded by lots of loving hands. We are Golden Retriever lovers and believe in promoting responsible dog ownership through education and support from breeders and veterinarians.
